How can I re-decorate my room into an 80's teen room like the record store in the movie Pretty In Pink?
I need some ideas for a small teen bedroom 80's style, based on the record store from Pretty In Pink.
Oh my gosh! What an awesome idea! If it is a small bedroom, I would stick to decorating "up". Look for stores that are going out of business, and try to find bins that fasten to the walls. Use these for records. I'm assuming you can still find records at garage sales. I know in a lot of college towns - Austin, TX, for example- you can find vinyl stores with reasonable prices - assuming it isn't a collectors album. Also try "head shops", or ebay. Add artist posters. That would be my suggestions off the top of my head. I LOVE that movie, but haven't seen it in a while. Good luck!
