How to replace sisal on scratching post?
My cat got a donated cat 'tree', and after a year of use, the sisal has begun to unravel. Anyone know of a pet-friendly ''glue'' or other ideas on how to replace the sisal for then she can continue to use & enjoy her scratching post?

Could you use a small nail to tack the sisal back in place?
Bear in mind that when cats scratch, they are also scent marking with their claws. The current scratching post will have her scent which is one of the reasons that she enjoys using it.
If you decide to buy a new post don't throw out the old one until she has begun using the new one regularly.
