retouching skin color on PAINT?
on school we are asked to paint and my teacher said that use burnt sienna, yellow ocre, white, and a little bit of gold for the skin... and now i think i need more white or something because it looks unrealistic... the skin tone i'm painting is caucasian... something like the color of the skin tone of girl with a pearl earring by Vermeer.. but my paint looks kinda more fair(SKIN), i need it to become more white! I need it to become more realistic looking... So what should I do to make it more realistic looking?
P.S i'm not really a pro at painting because i just started maybe like a days ago.. so any tip would help...
White + Orange (red and yellow) + VERY small amount of black. Keep playing with the red/yellow (orange hues) until you get the skin type you want. Remember to add dark to light. It might take some time, so don't be afraid to play around with it but it should work
